Single Mothers and Solo Mums by Choice

We have the privilege of caring for a lot of women who are doing it on their own. One thing we hear a lot is how they don’t know of many others who are in a similar position. We are keen to fix that by creating a data base of women happy to be connected to others. This is not something that is run within the clinic – this is an opportunity to bring together women who have similar backgrounds who can choose to connect in ways that feels right for them (email, phone, in person).

Solo Mums by Choice

This group of women have actively set out to be a solo mum by choice. They have not waited for Mr Right to come along and instead have taken control of their future and proceeded with fertility treatments to be able to have a family of their own. This comes with its own unique challenges, potential isolation, and often the lack of someone to share the experience with. Other parents understand what it’s like to have babies, but few understand what it’s like to truly be the only parent. If you would like to be introduced (via email) to other mother’s who have walked this walk before, are in the early stages of solo parenting, or just embarking on this journey, fill out the form below and we can share your details with others.

Single Mothers

This group of women have either chosen to leave the father of their children, or have been left by their partner. The former is what we see more often in our clinic. Women who know they deserve to be treated better and wish for a different future for their children rather than staying in toxic relationships. This journey comes with it’s own set of challenges: legal proceedings, custody issues, separation from children (filled with mixed emotions), finanical implications, and still having to communicate with someone who you wish wasn’t in your life. Often women are battling post separation abuse and feel like they may be the only ones. This is not true, and finding a group of other women going through exactly the same thing as you can be incredibly rewarding. If you would like to have your details shared (via email) with other single mothers, please fill out the form below.
