It Takes a Village – Grandparenting Today Workshop

It Takes a Village – Grandparenting Today

A workshop designed to help grandparents understand contemporary evidence-based parenting
approaches and confidently support their children and grandchildren during the early years of family
life.

The workshop recognises the important role grandparents play in creating a supportive village
around growing families and provides practical information, current knowledge and opportunities
for discussion in a respectful and engaging environment.
This class is run by our resident grandmother Jill Andrews (proud grandmother of Ada and Finn and
mother of Jayne Pigou who runs our parenting classes and groups). Jill is an experienced workshop
facilitator and community educator, with extensive experience designing and delivering training
programs and community initiatives.
