Antenatal Colostrum Expression Syringes

Interested in collecting and storing your colostrum that is produced in the later stages of your pregnancy? Research shows this is safe to do from 36 weeks gestation, and can help improve breastfeeding rates. We sell packs of 15 syringes with caps (8x 1ml and 7x 2.5ml) in an Adelaide Mums and Babies wet-bag for $27. Additional syringes can be purchased if you need more.

Breast Pump Hire + Parts

We have purchased Spectra S1 and S2 pumps for hire. These are for short-term use while you are needing some additional breastfeeding support, or are keen to try the pump before you purchase from Spectra. We also have additional flange sizes to make sure you get the right fit. Hire is $25 per week, for a maximum of 4 weeks with a $150 refundable deposit.

TENS Machines

Keen to try a TENS machine for pain relief in labour? Our in-house women’s health physio, Olivia Bredenkamp, can teach you how to use the machines. Hire of the machine is $60 for 4 weeks (labour isn’t always predictable!) with a $50 refundable deposit. The electrodes are single-person use only, and we sell these at the time of hire.

Unlike belly bands, SRC Pregnancy Leggings can treat multiple conditions, are more comfortable to wear and are hence more likely to be worn for longer periods which increases their effectiveness. Do up a belly band too tight and you risk muscle deactivation. Belly bands should only be worn for short periods, 2-3 hours to prevent deactivation of your muscles. In some cases, you may benefit from both the SRC Pregnancy Leggings AND a pregnancy belt.
