Parliamentary Enquiry into Postnatal Care 2026

Adelaide Mums & Babies Clinic’s Submission to the Senate Select Committee on Women’s Health

In September 2026, Adelaide Mums and Babies Clinic conducted a voluntary survey of patients and families about experiences during the first 12 months after having a baby.

The survey received 338 responses from AMBC families and patients.

In November 2026, Dr Briony Andrew and Dr Rhiannon Smith presented your voices and experiences at the Senate Select Committee on Women’s Health Public Hearing.

The anonymous findings and recommendations are available to view below in our submission reports.

We sincerely thank those who shared their journeys with us. Your voices and experiences will help us to continue to advocate for better postnatal healthcare for Australian women and families.
