Born and raised in Adelaide, Ellen graduated from Flinders University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Clinical Science (BClinSc) and Doctor of Medicine (MD). While working in hospitals across Adelaide she completed the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP, previously DCH) and developed an interest in paediatrics and women’s health. She obtained fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2022 and continued to work in a variety of roles including general practice and urgent care.
Ellen has commenced training to become a Neuroprotective Developmental Care Practitioner. She brings a personal understanding to the challenges some individuals encounter on their journey to parenthood and when welcoming a baby who needs specialised care after birth. Her goal is to empower other families during the early and sometimes difficult days by providing them with the support they need to flourish.
Ellen enjoys spending her time outdoors with her family and kelpie, Koda.
