Dr Alison Edgecomb

Alison is a General Practitioner who is from Adelaide. She graduated from Flinders medical School in 2012 and became a fellow of the RACGP in 2017. She is also a certified Neuroprotective Developmental Care Practitioner, having undergone additional training through the Possums Clinic.

After experiencing both breastfeeding and sleep challenges with her own two children, Alison found that the Possums program provided an evidence-based approach that aligned with her own values. Alison is delighted to be able to share the Possums approach with other families in order to support them through the joys of and challenges of early parenthood.

Alison is interested in all aspects of women’s health. She is accredited to provide Obstetric Shared Care with the major public hospitals. She enjoys being able to provide care from preconception, during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.
